Are you actually STILL thinking of it?

Below are some good reasons for you to attend your first yoga class this September:

1. High Quality sleeping time Yoga will help to relax your entire body, which causes you to have better sleep.

2. Abundance of Energy

Adding regular yoga flows will give your body more energy for all the other stuff, like exploring your city while sipping your favorite cup of coffee.

3. Well-shaped hips

People are always talking about “opening up the hips” and, yeah, it sounds weird, but our hips are very telling of how mobile we are. Many of us have tight hips that cause back and knee issues. Open up those hips and decrease body pain with some yoga!

4. A Quiet, Productive Mind

Ever felt overwhelmed with all you have to focus on in life? Yoga helps to quiet our minds. There are so many distractions in life that keep us from achieving our goals – yoga will help us block out those distractions.

5. Breathe Deeper

Deep breathing has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety. Yoga requires us to practice proper deep breathing.

6. Practice Mindfulness

A little more focus on our own minds and bodies can improve everything. Yoga forces us to sit on the mat, forget everyone else and focus on what we have going on. That is tough, but necessary!

7. Healthier Habits

If you’re doing yoga, you are treating your body right! This will cause you to treat your body better in other ways, such as the food you eat. That’s not to say you won’t have pizza occasionally. You will. But more often you will choose healthy greens over junk.

8. Wear Cute Yoga Clothes ALL the Time

Let’s cut to the chase: yoga fashion is in right now! Cute leggings and tops abound - not to mention many are so comfortable and versatile these days you can go from class to brunch and not even have to change.

9. Get Strong

People unfamiliar with yoga don’t understand how much strength you get. Strong shoulders. Strong legs. Strong abs. Strong everything. How else do you think we get into all those headstands? Strength.

10. Increased Flexibility

Doing the splits is not natural. It takes practice. Yoga helps increase flexibility in muscles and tendons, allowing us to get into those otherwise difficult poses.

So, why are you still looking at this blog? Grab your mat and go for it!
